How a job runs
- People → the customer, or New job with name, phone, and address.
- On the job card, add the price, parts, and photos.
- Send estimate opens Messages. You tap Send. The customer does not install Job Card.
- When the work is done, Send invoice on the job. That shares the PDF and opens the text. You tap Send.
- Record paid after they pay you. That is a note. Job Card does not charge the customer.
To change one bill’s note or due date, open that invoice from the job or from Money.
PIN
Optional. Use 4 to 6 digits. We cannot email a reset. Shop → Job Card settings → Lock → Save PIN or Remove PIN.
To wipe the shop: Shop → Job Card settings → Delete this shop.
Phone alerts
Shop → Job Card settings → Phone alerts. These stay on this phone. An unpaid reminder means you tap Remind. Job Card does not text the customer for you.
Backup
Shop → Job Card settings → Books on this phone → Backup shop. The file stays on this phone. Photos stay in the photo folder. There is no cloud copy of the shop.
Your shop
Shop → Your shop is the letterhead: name, trade, license, rates, terms, pay QR, price list, and crew. Job Card settings is the PIN, alerts, plan, backup, and legal pages.
Plan
Google Play bills the Job Card plan. The price is the one shown in Google Play. Your customers are never charged there.
Delete my data
Shop → Job Card settings → Delete this shop, or uninstall Job Card.
